What We Believe

Curious what we actually believe? Here are the foundations our faith is built on.

God

We believe in one true and living God — the Creator of heaven and earth, all-powerful, all-knowing, and present everywhere. There is no other god beside Him.

"I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me." — Isaiah 45:5 (NKJV)

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." — Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

We believe God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three Persons, one God

"For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." — 1 John 5:7 (NKJV)

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and Word of God — without error, and our final authority for faith and life.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

Salvation

We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." — Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" — John 14:6 (NKJV)

We believe salvation is received by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ — not earned by works.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." — Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

Baptism

We believe in water baptism as a public declaration of faith — identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." — Romans 6:4 (NKJV)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, empowering believers to live and witness for Christ.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." — Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

The Spirit-Filled Life

We believe the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit are for today — not just for the early church. Healing, deliverance, signs, wonders, and miracles continue as God works through those who believe.

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." — Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." — Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

Sanctification

We believe sanctification — the process of being set apart and made holy, formed more into the likeness of Christ — begins the moment we are saved, our spirit made new instantly.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

But it doesn't end there. God continues the work, shaping our character and daily life to reflect Christ more and more over time.

"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." — Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)

"But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life." — Romans 6:22 (NKJV)

The Apostolic Order

We believe God has established a specific order of ministry gifts within the Church — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers — each given by Christ Himself to equip believers and build up the Body.

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." — Ephesians 4:11-12 (NKJV)
